The ACRL/NY Professional Development Committee develops programs and events (in person, online or both) that would be of interest to ACRL/NY members in all of the geographic areas (New York City, Long Island, Westchester/Lower Hudson Valley). This includes collaborative initiatives with the ACRL/NY Discussion Groups, library organizations in the greater metropolitan New York area and outreach to MLIS students. The Committee assists in promoting and implementing the Chapter’s goals.
