The Communications Committee (CC) was established by the Committee for a New Vision (CNV) in coordination with the Executive Board to develop a better way to inform and connect with our members and the broader community.
CC meets online on a monthly basis during the academic year. The members are from the President’s Council, the Web Team, six volunteer members, two of whom are the co-chairs, and the Membership Secretary.
In the coming year, we will focus on the design of our website to create a more welcoming, modern, and user-friendly experience, with streamlined navigation and improved communication features. As part of preserving our history, we will work with our chapter to collect, organize, and archive our institutional content. Looking to the future, we hope to continue improving communication with membership and to develop new methods of outreach and transparency.
